David J. McGrawDavid is the Program Coordinator for Arts Administration at Elon University. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Iowa Summer Rep theatre company, Director of the graduate program in Stage Management and Director of Arts Entrepreneurship at the University of Iowa. A proud member of Actors' Equity Association, David has also stage managed for the Arizona Repertory Theatre, Capital Repertory Theatre, Geva Theatre Center, Oldcastle Theatre, Perishable Theatre, StageWorks on the Hudson, Vilar Center for the Arts, White River Theatre Festival, and the Yale Repertory Theatre.
He is a member of USITT, the Association of Arts Administration Educators, and has served as the Second Vice Chair of the Stage Managers Association. David owns SM-Sim LLC, which produces the Stage Manager Simulator and the training film, STANDBY CUE 101. |
AmyRuth McGrawAmyRuth is the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the American Sign Language program and an adjunct assistant professor for the Theatre Arts Department at the University of Iowa. She holds an MFA in Theatre for Youth from Arizona State University, a BA in Theatre from Oberlin College, and an MA in Interpreting Studies from Western Oregon University.
AmyRuth spent 4 years as the Associate Director of Education for Geva Theatre in Rochester, NY. She has performed, interpreted, and taught for Sunshine, Too, an outreach project of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf. AmyRuth is a certified member of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf and has interpreted in community, educational, and performance settings in Iowa, Arizona, New York, and the Washington, DC metropolitan area since 1993. |
